1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Chronostop Enterprises Private Limited ("Chronostop", "we", "us"), the company that operates the Dialroom marketplace (dialroom.in) and the Hourmark authentication portal (hourmark.in). By creating an account, placing an order, or listing a watch, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be (a) an Indian resident, (b) at least 18 years of age, and (c) legally competent to enter contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Sellers must additionally be verified through our KYC flow (Aadhaar last-4 + PAN, plus GSTIN where applicable) before any listing is published.
3. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at security@dialroom.in immediately upon any suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts found in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
4. Listings
Sellers warrant that each listing accurately describes the watch (brand, reference, condition, completeness, provenance) and that the seller has clear, lawful title. Photographs must be of the actual item. Misrepresentation, counterfeits, or stolen goods will result in delisting, account suspension, and reporting to law enforcement.
5. Authentication & Escrow
For Luxe-tier transactions Dialroom holds buyer funds in an escrow account and authenticates the watch at our Bengaluru hub (or via our partner horologist Time and Me for ₹2L+ items) before releasing funds to the seller. Trusted-Dealer transactions ship directly with funds released on confirmed delivery. The full state machine is described in our Authentication Guarantee policy.
6. Buyer obligations
- Provide accurate KYC and shipping details.
- Accept delivery in person and complete OTP verification at the door.
- Inspect the watch within the applicable inspection window and raise any dispute with photographic/video evidence.
- Pay all listed amounts including any disclosed buyer premiums, taxes, and shipping fees.
7. Seller obligations
- Complete KYC and provide verifiable bank details for payouts.
- List only watches you own outright with documentation available on request.
- Ship within the dispatch SLA for your seller tier with tamper-evident packaging.
- Co-operate with authentication, dispute resolution, and any fraud investigation.
- Issue a separate GST tax invoice to the buyer for the watch itself if you are registered under GST.
8. Commission & fees
Commission is charged on a tier basis. Indicative rates as of the date above:

11. Intellectual property
All content on the platform — logos, copy, software, authentication reports, and condition imagery produced by Chronostop — is the property of Chronostop or its licensors. By posting listing photographs you grant Chronostop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, and watermark those images for purposes of operating the marketplace.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Chronostop's total aggregate liability under these Terms in any twelve (12) month period shall not exceed the total commission and fees actually paid by you to Chronostop in that period. We exclude all indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chronostop, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your infringement of any third-party right, or (c) your violation of applicable law.
