Pre-owned watch authentication & certification

Hourmark is the authentication and certification brand of Chronostop Enterprises Private Limited — operator of the Dialroom pre-owned watch marketplace.

Every watch sold on Dialroom for ₹1 lakh or more goes through forensic authentication in Bengaluru. When a watch passes, we issue a Hourmark certificate — a tamper-evident record of the inspection, the verdict, and the authenticator.

VERIFY A CERTIFICATE

Enter the certificate number printed on the Hourmark card, or scan the QR code with your phone.

Format is HM-YYYY-XXXXXX. The QR code on a printed Hourmark certificate links to the same record.

OUR AUTHENTICATORS

  • Glen — Hourmark lead authenticator; founder of ReWrist (Bengaluru), 7+ years in pre-owned luxury watches.
  • Jileesh Joseph — forensic authenticator at Time and Me (Bengaluru); official authenticator for Amazon India and Indian Customs.
  • Partner network — vetted independent horologists in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata (rolled out city by city).

WHAT A HOURMARK CERTIFICATE MEANS

  • The watch was physically inspected by a named authenticator.
  • Serial number was cross-checked against the listing.
  • Movement, case, dial, bracelet, crown, lume, crystal and weight were all documented.
  • The verdict is pinned to the certificate number and publicly verifiable.
  • A certificate can be revoked (e.g. fraud claw-back). The verify page surfaces revocation status prominently.
